2014-04-16 00:41:00 | You do realise whiteice is chill! :) If that's true then I won't complain. But still $99 doesn't compare too well to Vodafone's Naked VDSL @ $55.

2014-04-16 00:58:00 | Vodafone's Naked VDSL @ $55.Correctus.... that price is if you have a Vodafone mobile plan, else it's $85. Sorry. | Greg (193) | |
2014-04-16 02:29:00 | Yeah but that's only for the first 12 months, then they lock you in at a higher price. I'm not like that, I'm straight up about the pricing ;) Besides, less data on Vodafone vs flat rate... but it's OK I'm not after that "don't use the internet much" market. | Chilling_Silence (9) | |
2014-04-16 02:42:00 | $85 for 80GB vs $99 for flat rate. Seems a fair deal, imo. Especially when you factor in that bonus that you then don't have to be a Vodafone customer. | inphinity (7274) | |
2014-04-16 03:03:00 | Well I'm locked into telecom for 18 months or so from signing up for VDSL and coincidentally at about the same time that expires fibre is due to be installed on my street. So that gives you 18 months to establish your reputation for this potential customer :) We do have quite a few fairly good offers that chorus helped negotiate for it's service companies when we lost our discount with xtra(part of the separation) that you have to compete with though :p

2014-04-16 03:46:00 | $85 for 80GB That's $95 after 12 months last time I checked, the discount is only for starters. Yeah it's certainly been interesting watching those companies and how they handle their VDSL plans. A friend signed up with Orcon and basically was getting worse than ADSL speeds most of the time :( It's a shame some of them just aren't taking it too seriously...
