1372748 2014-04-15 02:07:00 To sit next to John Key - or any of the rest of the PMs, they'd have to pay me $5000. pctek (84)

1372750 2014-04-15 02:30:00 We can certainly expect Key to assist them where he can in fact he would be foolish not to :) With our version of MMP you need mates to get into government.

I guess you're right Clive, he would sell his Mother to stay in power. :D

1372754 2014-04-15 04:10:00 Last October Labour was selling tickets to business people to have dinner and a meet and chat with their MP's. I did not have a problem with that either. This is the sort of thing that all politicians do. No matter which side of the political spectrum they come from they need cash to pay for the publicity required to get us to vote for them or not as the case may be. In my opinion it is hypocritical to find fault with everything one side does but not the other. CliveM (6007)
1372755 2014-04-15 04:51:00 Playing with words :D

15 Maori leaders were charged $5000 a head to attend a dinner with Key at Auckland's exclusive Northern Club. If its 5K for the Head how much for the rest of the body ? some of them are larger built people :p

Not the same though Clive.

Any Party is entitled to raise funds for itself, but in this case we have the leader of the National Party raising funds for the Maori Party.

The reality is he is probably trying to steal the Maori vote but the Maoris haven’t woken up yet. ;)

You know, I thought that hooked beak of his was his Jewish ancestry showing through, but it may well be the amount of Hongi he engages in. ;)

No amount of money would make me want to sit next to that sleaze ball
