| 1386265 | 2014-10-14 03:06:00 | They have just put down UFB cable in our street. I was wondering if many of you in this situation have upgraded to UFB. Is it much dearer than your current broadband? What about routers and modems etc. If you have not upgraded - why not? I think that the government is subsidizing the connection to your house for a while. |

Have been looking at changing to Vodafone fibre to save $14/month. Everyone that I have asked about Vodafone has said the product is good, but the backup is hopeless when things go wrong, bills are always getting stuffed up, and be prepared to wait for at least 30 minutes if you ring them. |

We built a new house in Carterton in a new subdivision with only fibre and no copper. Actually, the fibre was all very low-key and when the owners of the first house moved in, a guy turned up to connect the phone and had to call his boss " ..I can't find the copper pair .." |
