361893 2005-06-07 22:56:00 I have windows xp When I add an attachment it appears as a very large picture in the body of the email as well as an attachment in the normal way. How can I stop the attachment appearing in the body part?
I have searched the help pages but nothing tells me what I want to know.
Reduce size there is nothing.
Anyone have any Idea why it does appear when I don't want it too?

361896 2005-06-07 23:39:00 Send all messages as plain text or do the following.
In Outlook Express, on the Tools menu, click Options.
2. On the Send tab, click HTML under Mail Sending Format.
3. Settings, unclick the Send Pictures With Messages check box and then click OK.

361897 2005-06-08 00:12:00 It is with much saddness I have to report that none of your suggestions worked There must be a fault in the works lol. I did manage to send one using the H.P.Share programme So I guess I will have to use that every time I want to send a pic. Seems a lot of fuss but it works! Thank you very much for your time. Can I use AVG with my Trend Micro Internet Security programme or will I just use the one. Trend brandysson (7277)
361898 2005-06-08 00:32:00 When you compose a new message if you select Format at the top is it set to plain text.
I don't understand what you mean by HP share program.

It is not a good idea to run two anti-virus programs at the same time.
I would stick with Trend only if it is working ok.
