| 361889 | 2005-06-07 13:19:00 | I am working on a Soltek SL-85DIV mobo with a double-sided PC2100 266 DDR chip. Unfortunately, it only registers 128MB. Do some mobos not handle double-sided DIMMS? The mobo manual doesn't say anything about single-sided chips so how does one know what to put in? This one was put in by the machine assembler so they didn't know, either. Enlightenment appreciated. |

How do you know that the current installed module is 256Mb? Try installing it into a board that you know accepts double sided ram and see what it recognises it as. |
