361819 2005-06-07 06:19:00 ok today i went to re-install Microsoft Office 2003, i have installed this before, but recently formated and now managed to get time to install it agai,n but now when i insert the C.D. all i get is ....... NOTHING it makes my anti virus freeze, my zone alarm freeze, my firefox freeze but as soon as i eject the C.D. everything resumes bak as if i hit the play button again :dogeye: wats going on?? i have previously tried to install it but only got half way before i had to leave so i cancelled it and then it frooze so just powerd it off, maybe thats the problem but i dont know so PlLeEeeAAAsSSSEEE HeeEEELLLPppPPPP mEEEEE!!!!! :( Codex (3761)
361820 2005-06-07 06:34:00 The first thing I would try is uninstalling the half installed program with add remove programs in control pannel.

If that dosent work, check device manager to see if there is a problem with the CD drive.

FIRST though check that the CD is in good condition. A bad disc can cause problems like this.

361821 2005-06-07 06:38:00 the disk is in mint conditiion! and you cant uninstall wat isnt there! :( it isnt in add remove porgrams and the cd drive is fine im way ahead of ya on that :( Codex (3761)
361822 2005-06-07 07:38:00 Close all your other running programs during installation. Make sure you are not connected to the internet during this, as this also includes your AV and firewall. See if this makes a difference. Jen (38)
361823 2005-06-07 08:03:00 i closed EVERYTHING absolutely EVERYTHING except what i cudnt close(explorer lol and services) but still nothing, all it does is sit there and read....read....read.....its reading right now..... BUT NOTHING HAPPENDS ARGH! :'( Codex (3761)
