| 362539 | 2005-06-09 15:58:00 | I am trying to do chatting using skype but it doesn't work. The test always fails. other people can't hear my voice. I have done all I can like follow the usual suggestions. These are the settings and still it won't work: 1. In Audio and sound properties (in control panel) > Sound > volume> microphone is always in mute mode! I have unchecked mute several times but whenever i start something which uses microphone it is checked again!! 2. Recording > Volume> microphone is selected and volume level at the top. I am using winXP(home). The volume icon at right hand bottom corner always shows microphone mute. Even if i unchecked it and save, the moment i start skype it is checked again. Could anyone tell me why I am going crazy here? Thanks a lot in advance. |
