Thats just it I have most of the anti spyware/adware programs: Spybot 1.4, Adaware 1.06, A2 scanner, SpywareBlaster, CounterSpy, Microsoft anti-spyware They get updated all the time and scans are run just about every day 2 |

Very very strange, then. SpywareBlaster is supposed to lock out that sort of thing, same with Spybot if the setting is enabled so it's a bit of a mystery how your Hosts file got like that. :confused: |

Personally I use Spybot to view the host file,and just select the lot and hit the delete button to get rid of what shouldn't be in there, always get a chuckle to see every single Security site on the planet marked inacesable to the user...... |
