| 363039 | 2005-06-11 04:44:00 | I have 3 Region O DVDs from the same UK source which have played with no problem in my laptop and my standalone DVD player. Then they developed the common fault of causing my laptop to hang while still playing on my standalone. Having now successfully installed an external DVD drive they will now neither play on that nor my standalone. They show no physical damage and are perfectly clean. It puzzles me why they should have become progressively faultier. Anyone got any thoughts on this? Martynz PS I've cut the Gordian knot of previously posted problems with Drivers by upgrading from Windows98SE to XP. |
