2005-06-12 10:25:00 | <div style="float: right; margin-left: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px;"> <a href="www.flickr.com title="Photo Sharing"><img src="photos12.flickr.com width="240" height="180" alt="P1030141" alt="" style="border: solid 2px #000000;"/> </a> Originally uploaded by <a href="www.flickr.com </div> Insert lots of EXTREMELY interesting text that you should love to read here :-/ <br clear="all" /> the above code outputs as expected in Opera 8.0 & IE6.0 but *Zilla's seem to act all screwy by not displaying the image. When I remove the DIV tags to float the picture right in the post, I get the image displaying inline fine... Any Ideas why the DIV wrapper screws it up? If its a CSS issue, dang. Alot of digging.

2005-06-12 13:15:00 | Compare this to what you had: <div style="float: right; margin-left: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px; "> <a href="www.flickr.com title="Photo Sharing"><img src="photos12.flickr.com width="240" height="180" alt="" style="border: solid 2px #000000;"></a> Originally uploaded by <a href="www.flickr.com Insert lots of EXTREMELY interesting text that you should love to read here :-/<br clear="all">Should look like this. | 363353 | 2005-06-12 13:48:00 | It displays practically the same in all three browsers (Fx1.04, IE6 SP2 (www.sal.neoburn.net) and Opera8) for me. | sal (67) | |

2005-06-13 01:16:00 | It displayed fine for me in Firefox only when I unticked the "Preferences/Web Features/Load images/for originating server only" box . If you look at the code, the image is served on a different server . . . I also have that option unticked & Firefox doesnt display . From the display that the previous kind people have uploaded it does appear to be a CSS issue . A genius friend did some digging & found had a bit of a play with editcss (http://editcss . mozdev . org/) on firefox and if you remove this tag: max-width: 98%; from . entry img in the css it fixes it for him . I shall go mining & see if I cant apply this as a fix . . . I appreciate the feedback people :-)

2005-06-13 01:29:00 | considering zilla has about 2% of the market, does it really matter? | netchicken (4843) | |
2005-06-13 08:45:00 | considering zilla has about 2% of the market, does it really matter? A bit more than that & growing. I also use it predominantly so I would obviously like to have my own site display correctly in the browser of my choice. Also since Im kind of person to frequent a forum such as PressF1, I probably dont like unanswered questions like this one. Take your pick my friend :D

2005-06-13 20:15:00 | Well it was trollish... :) But I am right... From my own stats from my site... (What is interesting is the growth of firefox and the decline of IE) Internet Explorer 78.5 % Firefox 11.1 % Netscape 2.8 % Safari 2.2 % Mozilla 2 % Opera 1.6 %
