| 363207 | 2005-06-12 00:55:00 | Hi all, Is it possible to use a wired LAN and a wireless LAN on the same PC at the same time. On my PC, it appears the ethernet wired LAN has priority and disconnects the wireless LAN connection whenever I connect the wired ethernet cable. I have a different IP address under TCP/IP for each device. Cheers in advance T |

Unless they are connected ultimately to the same physical network, then the IP address and subnet of each connection must be different. In an ad-hoc wireless connection, loss of an address may be enough to cut the thing all together. |

| 363210 | 2005-06-12 01:18:00 | any ideas how to make this work? i have 3 PC's, PC #1 has both wired and wireless network adapters, PC #2 has wired only and PC #3 has wireless only. Now I can only connect from PC #1 to either PC #2 or PC #3 independently of each other and NOT at the same time. If both adaptors on PC #1 are switched on (connected), the wired connection is active and the wireless is disconnected. If the wired cable is then removed, the wireless connection becomes active. What I want is to be able to use PC #1 to access both PC #2 and PC #3 at the same time. IP addresses are; PC #1 (192.168.2.3 wired, and 192.168.2.5 wireless) Subnet for both is 255.255.255.0 PC #2 (192.168.2.1 wired) Subnet 255.255.255.0 PC #3 (192.168.2.6 wireless) Subnet 255.255.255.0 Cheers for any assistance.
