| 363145 | 2005-06-11 11:10:00 | It used to just start up automaticly. Now it won't even work for my scanner. I can get picturers from the camera in My computer, and the scanner is accessable from photoshop, I just want that easy to use wizard to work again. can some one please help me. |

| 363147 | 2005-06-12 10:01:00 | James Scanner is Mustek 1200plus, I got a driver from a place called usbdrivers.com. It worked fine till the wizard stoped working. Camera is a kodac cx6330. Windows xp home edition version 5.1.2600 service pack 2 AMD Athlon xp2200+ 1.80GHz 224 MB of ram I realy dont want to install the easyshare software to use it because the camera and scanner wizard was much easyer to use. Does that mater? Are there drivers for the camera and scanner in that software that will make the wizard work again. I also get this message; The computer cannot detect the scanner or camera. Please make sure the device is turned on and properly connected to the computer. If the computer still cannot detect the device open cotrolpanel, click Scanners and Cameras, then click add device. I do that but there is no kodac cx 6330 in the camera instalation wizard. The folder shows the camera(kodac) and the scanner(mustec) and I can access the properties of those two devices but thats all. The only other thing that I can remember is that I had a cleanout of some old programs some time around the time the wizard stopped working. Dont know what they were. hope thats helpful. |

Dont know what they were.You could try doing a system restore back to before you had your cleanout. If it doesn't work you can restore it back again to how it is now. | 363150 | 2005-06-12 10:38:00 | What program does the wizard belong to? Where did it come from? You could possibly try uninstalling what it belongs to as well as the camera and scanner software and reinstalling it again. |

| 363151 | 2005-06-12 10:40:00 | Is it the Mustek 1200 UB + or the Bearpaw 1200 CU +? Have u tried the Mustek site for the driver?? It'll be better getting the driver from the maker's site. It might work properly. |

Only thing is why the hell did it happen in the first place what did i delete? Any Ideas? The scanner and camera wizard is part of windows. You find it in the start menu/all programs/accessories. But you know that dont you. Speedy Gon..... Its the Mustek 1200 UB plus. Any way thanks for the help all of you. |

Just be a little more careful about what you clean out in future as you never know what surprises might happen . I try not to clean out too much at once so that if anything does go wrong then at least I can soon find out what was the culprit . Well . . . hopefully, anyway . :p |
