363507 2005-06-13 10:36:00 Last week Countdown supermarket was advertising USB flash drives for $29.95, I think it was. Was tempted to get one to see what it was like but didn't get there in the end. Was probably a heap of junk anyway. FoxyMX (5)
363508 2005-06-13 10:42:00 A computer-knowledgeable friend bought one last week from our local Countdown ( which has turned into a mini-Warehouse). Still working fine. TonyF (246)

363510 2005-06-13 10:45:00 I think they were 128s. But having just looked at Pricespy, all sorts of outfits are selling them at ever lowering prices ....
The only time to buy PC stuff is later on .....

363512 2005-06-13 12:05:00 how about some computer shops get their own back & start selling bread, cheese, milk, nappies... quarry (252)

The bread would be stale, the cheese would be off (hard to tell though), the milk would be far from fresh and the nappies could be second-hand :D

Oh well at least they wouldn't have to say "please read the manual", well maybe for the nappies - "I'm sorry sir you wanted to buy DDR nappies, those you got aren't compatiable with baby 1.0"
