| 363176 | 2005-06-11 22:52:00 | Go to the link that johnboy posted and do the recommended things, eg scan with updated anti-virus, Ad-aware, Spybot, etc etc. Go to Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel and remove newdotnet if present. If it is not there download this removal tool: www.newdotnet.com and run it, following the directions on that page. In case your internet connect breaks download the LSP fix from here: www.cexx.org and run it if necessary- launch the LSP application, and click the "I know what I'm doing" checkbox then click Finish. Download and run HijackThis and post a log here. Link and instructions are in the forum's Spyware FAQ. NOTE: Do all your downloads before you start fixing things to have everything on hand and ready. |
