| 364734 | 2005-06-18 00:11:00 | You might be surprised at the huge amount of rubbish Paradise sorts and blocks from your inbox.There is just so much spam and junk it is a wonder we get any emails at times.Security is the key issue with any responsible ISP not speed of delivery.I too was disillusioned with Paradise untill it was explained to me just what they have to deal with and then it became clear that all ISP s must have the same problems at different times. |

I have approx 8 email address, None that run through the ISP filters and a couple on display on websites that get traffic. Probally get 3 items of spam a day...... |

And as Metla says how much you attract is dependant - like if you post your email address all over the place, its likely to attract a lot more. |

Well I made 5 messages to a newsgroup asking some questions about VB.NET and how to do things and my spam jumped from 40 per day to 120 per day for quite some time. I also have an easy to guess userid so much spam they could just guess my e-mail address anyway. I had mine before spam was an issue and now cant be bothered changing it with all the hassles of notifying evryone, etc |
