| 364212 | 2005-06-15 11:11:00 | My laptop's power options icon in the taskbar (the battery icon which tells you how much juice you've got left) keeps disappearing. No, it's not hiding - hitting the unhide arrow doesn't help - , it is actually disappearing. I've ticked "Always show this icon in system tray" in the power options advanced dialog box, i've also set it to "Always show" in the taskbar options. However, it keeps disappearing - I can fix it by unticking the box, hitting apply, then re-ticking it. However, every time my computer goes into Sleep mode, or I restart it, it disappears again. When I go into Power Options, it is still ticked there, as with the taskbar options. I have done google searches, but nobody has posted a fix. Any ideas anybody? |
