365119 2005-06-19 00:28:00 Hey all.

I would lile to know if there is some windows features which allow me to Hibernate the other PC on my network.

Shutdown command in cmd gives me "Access Denied."

Also, How can I make the pc remotely turn back on?

Thanks, Luke.

365120 2005-06-19 00:58:00 See if there's an option in the other PC's BIOS for wakeup on LAN. Or WOL

If there is, once u boot your PC, the other PC should boot.

If both are on a LAN network.

If the other PC has XP on it, just enable hibernation on it.

365122 2005-06-19 09:39:00 I wouldn't reccomend WOL - it might just be my cheap network cards, but whenever I enable it on either or both of my computers, they turn on in the middle of the night even though the other one isn't turned on. Greven (91)
