364778 2005-06-17 23:57:00 I know this must sound dodgey, I'm not sure if it is but I own my Clock Work Orange DVD and I need to copy lots from it for my assignment. I have to make an intereactive flash website for the trailer from Clock Work. So I really want to rip various sounds, music and clips including the trailer for my flash website, that is just for an assignment nothing illegal really!! Plus I already own the dvd.. so can anybody help me? I have no idea how to go about doing this, what programs to use and such... thanks heaps! its kinda urgent too! bizzack (7739)
364779 2005-06-18 00:29:00 Yes it is dodgy. Ripping copies of commercial DVD's is not legal under NZ Laws. There is also the copyright issue of you using it to quote, "copy lots from it", as I believe you can only use a small portion of a movie for a specific usage eg, writing a review.

Locking thread as you are asking for advice on illegal matters.
