365702 2005-06-21 02:32:00 2 Perflib_Perfdata xxx files have started appearing in my temp files. They can not be deleated and everytime the computer is rebooted they return with different numbers.
Can someone tell me what is putting them there? , and what purpose do they serve?

365703 2005-06-21 02:46:00 They are created by performance monitoring programs such as disk keeper.
They are not malicious, and unless you have an abnormal shutdown, they are deleted and recreated next boot.

(ie, you press the power button on the case)
