365685	2005-06-21 01:19:00	There's a domain name I'm after that's currently owned by someone else. I went to the Domainz website and found out that its registered date is 7 June 2004, but its billed until and datecancelled dates are all the same: 7 June 2005. This would imply that the domain is now available. However, its "query_status" is "pending release", which implies that it might not be available now but could be soon. I tried googling for "pending release" but found nothing useful. I tried contacting Domainz but couldn't get an answer from the nice young man I spoke to. He was more interested in me paying money to them for them to then tell me if and when the domain name became available. So, finally, my question(s): (a) Is there a period of grace after which an unrenewed domain name becomes available, and if so, how long? and (b) What DOES "pending release" actually mean?
