| 365697 | 2005-06-21 03:15:00 | Oh joy geek me not... My SIL has asked me....... :illogical how to put email address's onto her web page.... lost... If it is a web based current addy she is using what do i do? or do we need a new email addy? way scary new territory for me.....and when i dont have the time for this...:( i need a little knowledge and help from you to get me through this. She has a Mac laptop which is to be used... i just found out, and no idea what mail prog she uses....i will get back to you, This is for overseas use, when she goes away again..... :help: Not feeling real geekified about this one.... please. is it easy to set up or not? beetle |

| 365698 | 2005-06-21 03:59:00 | Very confusing beetle. What exactly is she trying to do. If she wants to add an email address to a website that she owns than she should know how to do this. If is a freeparking page the instructions are on their site. Why would she want to do this for for overseas use. If she already has a web based address, she can use this from any computer. If it is an ISP POP mail account she can use the ISP web mail system |

But she has a web page and a hotmail addy and thats it . . . she has a domain name and web page and can have access for 2 email addys on this . . . . this is where i got confused . . . . thinking she wanted to link a click to email her . but she just wanted a email prog set up to use . and set it up for use for her when she goes away . . . . blind leading blind . . . . :eek: but se has new can of worms she wants me to check out . . . . on her IBM ? it has 2 OS's? by the sound of it and wants to get rid of one??? :( not my day . thanxs beetle |
