| 366269 | 2005-06-23 03:20:00 | Since I downloaded some software updates last night a red oblong has been apearing at the top left of my screen, containing the words Games for one.com. It has no connection to the software that I am aware of and Google didn't come up with anything. I have run NAV. AdAware and Spybot S&D. Nothing was turned up by any of them. A serch of my HDs found nothing and there is nothing in Ad Remove Programs either. Should I be worried? I AM WORIED! Any sugestions? :horrified |

Sleep has been problematic lately, my head is muddled. Task Manager doesn't show anything that looks wrong to me. |

It is on the Desktop, Right in the top left corner; about 1.5 x 3 or 4 centimetres with dull yelowish text on a red background. It comes and goes, right now it is gone. I looked at the URLs for a lot of the sites that Google turned up. There was no apperant connection to the site I downloaded from. I have Spybot S&D Teatimer on so the registry should be clean. :confused: |

I had my computer scanned at PC Pitstop. It came up with AntivirusGold-trogen! HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Ext\Stats\{72267F6A-A6F9-11D0-BC94-00C04FB67863} : I don't know if it is relevant, but I renamed it. I ran CCleaner to. We will see if that makes a difference. Must go now |
