I've been trying to find some info on a local government site (www.tcdc.govt.nz) But when the site opens it displays a shortened version of the page title (.pdf files) for example www.tcdc.govt.nz/information/documents/proposeddis... whereas the full document title has a further 65 characters.

Is there any way of configuring Google to display the full page title please?

366100 2005-06-22 00:17:00 What has Google got to do with it.

If you right click on the link and select Send Link it will open up your email program with the full URL displayed

366102 2005-06-22 01:04:00 Your talking about the green text in this pic right (google_urls.gif (www.sal.neoburn.net))? ahh, i see the ellipsis now. there is probably no way to display full urls, no.

Only way would be to right click the blue link for each search result and copy the link from there. Are you going to these links via the View as HTML links?

366103 2005-06-22 03:08:00 Safari - Thanks - Ah well, if it's nothing to do with Google then I'm missing something. Yes your answer works but not sure why I should have to use the default mail system to get the full url.

Sal - Thanks - Still a bit confused but can live with it now.

366104 2005-06-22 04:12:00 Your are opening http://www.tcdc.govt.nz/ in Firefox web browser.

All the links to the information go direct to a PDF download and the URL does not show in Firefox address bar.
If you put your cursor on the link the full adddress will show at the bottom of Firefox which you can see but can't select and copy which is why I suggested the other way.
