| 365890 | 2005-06-21 12:21:00 | :horrified Today and yesterday FF has died, crash or due to error closed, frozen and what not, i have lost multiple posts and have given up almost trying to post today. all sites, all tabs and even on just opened browser, I have not altered anything and cant find a new update or anything on mozilla etc. Is there a patch or something out that will fix this ? Is it possible an extension is doing this? only updated tab browsing this week...cant think of any other fiddles i have done, all focus on homework this week. what did i do this time ya reckon? :stare: beetle |

| 365892 | 2005-06-21 12:47:00 | tab browser preferences caused my Firefox to crash just as you are saying, after a lot of hassle I realized this. This extension does everything preferences does and more: http://tab-mix.info.tm/ You want this version: Tab Mix 0.2.1 installation package , about half way down the page. You can also get this at Firefox Extensions. |

| 365894 | 2005-06-21 13:17:00 | Open you Extensions list (Tools > Extensions) and disable all your extensions by right clicking each one and selecting disable. Firefox should return to normal, then it's just a process of elimination finding which ones arent working together. It's most probably the last one you added which ever it is. Not in of its self but it may not work well with another extension you have installed. Actually, try just disabling the last extension you installed. |

I disabled firefox tab browsing and installed thst new one cos i could do with undo close tab..... thanxs people much appreciate the help ....just thought it was me doing loopy things again like normal...:D will let you know how i get on. beetle :) |

| 365896 | 2005-06-22 02:26:00 | I had huge problems and had to reinstall. I'd gone made installing the extensions and all was well for a while and inexplicably it all got very nasty. I've since become much more picky about what I've installed and so far so good. Much nicer than IE. | sarahk (5347) | ||
