366267 2005-06-24 05:39:00 How are you finding it Jen? :rolleyes:Wondered when abouts you were going to make an appearance in this thread :p

How am I finding what? The download? It wasn't too bad at 3.5 hrs for ~684MB :D

Just loaded Mepis now on my spare machine and it looks good. Just took a minute to configure eth0 for my router IP and it was online! A nice range of programs included with it. Not that familiar with Mepis to notice what is new or has been changed since the last version though. The Mepis homepage has a changelog for the release.

366268 2005-06-24 05:51:00 ... but now i have a new problem.. does anyone know a live cd thats compatible with wireless internet???I don't have any experience with wireless, but I noticed in Mepis there are configuration areas for Wireless and wLan settings. I've taken a screenshot of those settings:

Configure Wireless Connection (sal.neoburn.net)

Configure wlan0 Network (sal.neoburn.net)
