HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Ext\Stats\{72267F6A-A6F9-11D0-BC94-00C04FB67863} : I don't know if it is relevant, but I renamed it. I ran CCleaner to. We will see if that makes a difference. Must go now Just to let you folks know, running CCleaner, and renaming that registry key seems to have done the job. Thanks for the help. PS I still dont know how that registry entry got past Spybot S&Ds teatimer. I have remembered that a couple of days befor this started, I noticed that ZoneAlarm had shut down while I was on line! I only noticed it afterwards. There was no sign that it was happening at the time. I just noticed that ZA has shut down again! Latest version. I will let you know if anything else happens. |

I am sure that CoffeeCup are not responsible, but I guess their web page could have been compromised. I realy don't think it was that though. |
