366141 2005-06-22 10:22:00 My friend is considering of buying this AOC 17" LCD LM726 TFT LCD Monitor, 13ms.

Is it good? Existing users of this please comment.

Recommendations of other makes and model are most welcome. Price: about $350.00 incl gst.

cheers

Each AOC model varies slightly . Some have zero bright pixel warranty and some don't . But they are good, 3 year onsite warranty regardless who you buy it from . And a friend did a search a couple of weeks ago and found some review site where there were about 30 models, and it ranked 4th .

366143 2005-06-23 05:14:00 I have sold quite a few AOC LCD screens and never had any problems with them. But as pctek said there are different warranties so be careful which one you buy. I would recommend paying the extra $30-$40 to get a 3 year bright pixel warranty. CYaBro (73)
366144 2005-06-23 07:38:00 Hi bk T,

I have an AOC 17" LCD and have no problems with it at all. No dead pixels, just a nice clear screen. They are a good price for a 17". Got a friend with an LG and he had 1 pixel that was annoying him, so I gently massaged the screen with a screen wipe, no more pixel problems. Hope this helps.

not quite what I meant. I meant some MODELS have the zero bright and some don't. Its not a matter of paying extra. But they are all 3 years onsite.
