2005-06-24 10:49:00 | I am getting random reboots,I have checked the logs from Event Viewer and the error I am getting is System error-Parameter 1 badob148 Parameter 2 00000000 Parameter 3 8056c77b Parameter 4 00000000 when system find error and connects to MS its says a driver is likely causing this problem. I have checked hard drive and memory and they seem to be fine. I havent added anything right before this started, but I have noticed that the plug from monitor to back of pc is not screwing in tight as the ends seem to be broke. But it has been this way some time. I have tried upgrading all drivers. I have a Sony Vaio with 1536 Mg memory and two harddrives one 120 and one is 160 gb. Please if anyone can help I would really appreciate it.Thanks.

2005-06-24 12:30:00 | Open Device Manager (Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager) and check if any devices have an exclamation mark next to it indicating a problem. How do you get 1536Mb ram?

2005-06-27 21:32:00 | also download and run memtest86, sometimes this error is caused by faulty ram chip, you may have to test them Individually | beama (111) | |

But if you look at what it says it will say 1.5Gg of ram. |

2005-06-29 05:56:00 | okay thanks,I wasnt sure how to phrase the ram amount. I checked the ram with memotest and it tested okay. I did remove Zone Alarm firewall I had installed and it has not done this since so maybe that was causing it,though I had it on my Pc for sometime. Thanks for all the help ,hopefully it is solved as it has not happen for two days now. | sassyjo10 (8414) | |
