| 366654 | 2005-06-24 05:13:00 | Hi, I have a Win 2000 system with broadband. I believe I am secure behind a firewall and run antispyware software regularly (Ad-Aware, Microsoft, Spybot S&D etc). Hijack This seems to report all is OK. Yet my most recent Windows update fails, even after a restart. No reason is given, of course. I have also just upgraded Firefox to version 1.04. Since the failed update and the Firefox upgrade, my broadband connection is flaky, seems to stall for minutes. A restart seems to work .. for a while. Any helpful suggestions please? Cheers Chris |
