There is a confusing array of different sites offering the ability to start your own blog. blogger, livejournal, msn spaces, Xanga, blah blah Which is the best one with the most features and customisability?? Features that are important to me include RSS, ability to get a local copy (download) of the blog, some sort of 'community', ability to get rid of ads for a low fee |

| 367315 | 2005-06-27 08:12:00 | I use wordpress, its easily configured, and has heaps of addons . Pmachine is also good as well . I have my own space however, and recommend it, otherwise you will be just shouting in a busy room . As an aside, comment spammers that are using software to spam blogs with advertising are so bad now that they increased my bandwidth by about 2 gig over the month . My spamm killer software on my blog was killing around 30 - 50 per day sometimes . I got a new free add in program that stops them before they can hit the blog, (I'm not sure how) and the difference in daily bandwidth has been noticable . |
