367113 2005-06-26 05:09:00 The markings on the chip don't relate to the drivers you need.

Use Everest or similar to better identify the video

367114 2005-06-26 06:08:00 as well as Godfather suggestion watch the screen on boootup often the BIOS will give a screen output of the vidoe card make and model beama (111)
367115 2005-06-26 10:09:00 Correction: The Adapter is Cirrus Logic 564X 1.70J Dannz (1668)
367116 2005-06-26 10:22:00 Are you sure?

I think most Cirrus logic videocards start with CL or CS something.

What gave u 564X 1.70J?? The post screen?

This isnt the version of the driver thats installed is it? It looks like it.Or the bios version of the videocard, which isnt the model #.

In which case, this wont help you at all.

367117 2005-06-26 11:26:00 Whats the motherboard make/model, we can take it from there....! Chilling_Silence (9)
367118 2005-06-27 04:45:00 That is what it is reported by Right Clicking the desktop and going to Settings

And i cant really get the Motherboard Make/Model until the weekend - and how would i get that anyway?
Dannz (1668)
367119 2005-06-27 04:58:00 So, if it says this under settings, why are u looking for them if theyre already installed? If u can change the resolution / amount of colours on the screen, I wouldnt worry about it.

Everest as already stated, will tell u the brand/model of the mobo.
