| 367068 | 2005-06-25 23:57:00 | I am using XP and I am having problems with frame rates on my monitor. Every 30 seconds or so the screen freezes for a couple of seconds. I went to "Administrative Tools" and then "Performance" and the monitor shows about every 30 seconds the "%processor" time shoots up to 100%. This happens even if I am doing nothing except watching the performance monitor!!! This then explains why my monitor frame rates are stuttering regularly. Something must be triggering the processor to do this but I am at a loss as to what it could be. Any help would be appreciated as it gets rather frustrating trying to play most of my modern games. | 367071 | 2005-06-26 02:30:00 | Is the disk activity LED going on at "stutter" time? Could this be the dreaded (dreadful ;)) MS indexing, you XPerts? |
