367006 2005-06-25 08:00:00 im fed up with it!
for longer than i can remember i havent been able to access either of these companies sites.
www.ati.com results firefox sying "page contains no data" and IE saying 'cannot find 'www.ati.com'.
www.apple.com works, although it litteraly takes roughly 15min to load, not good on a 256k connection.

here is where it gets a bit strange.
when i ping www.ati.com i get an average round trip of 155ms
and with www.apple.com i get an average of 164ms

what the hell is happening to me

367007 2005-06-25 08:44:00 Are you with Xtra, perhaps someone with the same connection could check those sites. Could be an IP problem with one ISP

Have you done a virus scan with an updated anti-virus
Have you a firewall, can you try with firewall disabled.
Do you have Spybot installed

367008 2005-06-25 08:47:00 whoops, i forgot to mention my isp is Telstra.

367009 2005-06-25 08:55:00 You'd want to go to apple.com why exactly? Edward (31)
367010 2005-06-25 09:11:00 I would not get too concerned about the ping times.
I get 16ms for ATI and 155ms for Apple but both load fine.

367011 2005-06-25 09:16:00 I suspect the problem will be caused by your Windows Hosts file
Search for hosts and open in wordpad and delete the entries there.
