So does anybody use it for file-transfers between phones/PCs _frequently_?

367214 2005-06-28 22:26:00 And the range of the devices works similar to 802.11b, where a device with a higher range can still communicate with another device even if the 2nd device only is a low-range class bluetooth device?I havn't tried it, but I heard of someone putting a class 1 BT access point in his house, then using his the internet on his ipaq (my ipaq is class 2) from the whole house.

On the files -> PC via BT.. I've had hit and miss experiences with a ericsson and motorala cellphones, the seem to work one day then not the next. Can't say I've tried Nokia. That said, I've never had a problem with my ipaq.
