367310 2005-06-27 06:10:00 I want to set the 'default' to show thumbnails in XP, for instance when I have a CD in the drive and want to view the Jpegs/bitmaps I have to go into the drop down 'view' menu and select 'thumbnails' each time. Is there any way to change this in XPpro so that thumbnails are automaticly shown? Shortcircuit (1666)

Set the view to Thumbnails then goto Tools - Folder Options - View tab then click on Apply to all Folders.
That should save thumbnails as the default view.
