| 1387053 | 2014-10-29 04:35:00 | Hi, My Dad sells things on TradeMe. For his photos he connects his camera to the computer, which is running Windows 7, via USB. He then transfers them over. He then uploads them to TradeMe via Internet Explorer 9 or 10, whichever is the latest version. He clicks on the button to upload them and can see them to upload. But if he wants to view the pictures on the hard drive He cannot see them. He can only see them via IE. However via the file uploader in IE we can copy and paste them to another location, i.e the desktop, and viola they appear. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks :) |

Usually its DCIM folder, inside that will be other folders, in them will be your pictures, you should be able to open and view them. You may need to select a picture viewer, or change the View to Large Icons. To open with the inbuilt Windows Picture viewer, right click a picture - Open With - Windows Photo Viewer. | wainuitech (129) | ||

But they are not there at all. But if you navigate to Libraries> Pictures using the file uploader in IE they are there. Hope that explains it a bit more. |

| 1387056 | 2014-10-29 06:23:00 | What do you mean by "File uploader in IE" IE doesn't have one. Any files that are uploaded to places like trademe are built into the web site which should work with any browser. When you plug in the camera, there should have at some stage been a window open asking how you want to view/Import photos to the Computer -- What was selected? |

How does he transfer them over, were does the transfer actually save them. Dont assume it saves them where you would expect . easy fix. Do a search of c: for one of the photos (via its filename, that you can find with your IE Transfer method) When you find where they are you can move them to 'my pictures' When you import from the camera, stop & look at the settings at each step. If you are using 3rd party software to import photos from the camera they could be going anywhere . |

| 1387061 | 2014-10-30 01:13:00 | Perhaps the icon size needs to be changed so the pic can be viewed rather than simply seeing a file description?? In windows explorer go to top-right> more options> select Large or extra Large Icons. | Tbird650 (6754) | ||
