1373403 2014-04-23 23:41:00 Young children have to be supervised 100% of the time, they move very quickly.
When my kids were small I constructed a wire netting fence (chicken run) for them to play in. This contained a sand pit, slide and a swing. They were not allowed on the driveway. Sometimes I would take the youngest boy to work and he would be quite happy in the workshop sitting in a playpen with some tools & a lawn mower motor to play with.

If you are not prepared to care for your kids you shouldn't have them!

You caged your kids??
And gave one a lawn mower.....if he was young enough to be in a playpen isn't a lawn mower a bit sharp for a kid to play with? Not to mention dirty....

You've heard of a kid that didn't involve dirt ???? Where ??? When ???
Lawn mower motors are not particularly sharp, or they would be cake mixer motors and live inside where it is warm, and work doesn't involve munching on dog poop. ;)

1373408 2014-04-24 03:33:00 Potentially not directly related to this one, but when I got my Mazda 6 the first thing I got put in was a reversing camera coz you really can't see jack out the back window. I always look over my shoulder but when the boot is that high up, fat lot of good that'll do ya... Chilling_Silence (9)

Which begs the question why the kids were sitting on the back of a trailer while it was reversing down the driveway :o

A kid with fresh dirt on it is usually a happy one! The kid in question is now a highly qualified mechanic, having been interested in things mechanical since his playpen days.
