| 1373527 | 2014-04-28 10:19:00 | Got the Moto G (Google Edition) for Dad for $250. Costs $300 at JBhifi. I'd highly recommend it. Downside is that it has no expandable storage. | sahilcc7 (15483) | ||
| 1373528 | 2014-04-28 10:52:00 | I meant I swung for the full size s3. When I was looking around the s4 mini and the full sized s3 were the same price. The s3 has a higher resolution screen though less ram than the mini, but it also has a quad core processor while the s4 mini has a dual. Based on the bigger screen resolution and size, plus the quad core cpu (and i think a bigger battery?) I went with that. www.phonearena.com edit - one thing to note is that the s4 mini is 4g, while the s3 has an old 3g version which I believe is the standard or a new one that also does 4g. |

| 1373532 | 2014-04-28 23:45:00 | I still vote Moto G Also, I'm with Johcar. I play Ingress a lot. I'm on 2degrees and find I roam a bit to Vodafone, but even then we still lose coverage a lot. Wifey on Telecom, sitting next to me, same model phone, flawless across the entire greater Auckland region! |

( Even though I'm not a fan of Telecom) |

Too true Greg but some of us wasted our youth in smokefilled pubs and now have to squint to see anything smaller than headlines. :D A large screen is really the only way I will ever comfortably use a smart phone's capacity. |

| 1373535 | 2014-04-29 11:52:00 | From the list of shop on your link I've bought from Parallel Imported, Expert Infotech, Playtech, Pbtech I don't recommend expert info or playtech even though both have a few good reviews simply because the product I purchased from Playtech was a refunded product from a previous owner and expert infotech messed up the posting. I've heard good stuff from mobile station but I haven't purchased from them before. I don't recommend purchasing from the main retail stores simply because they are expensive. The reason I purchased my Galaxy S5 from two degrees because I was at st lukes and there were no cheaper place to purchase at the time. Doesn't matter if you buy parallel import or not as long as the model works in NZ I'm happy to wait and pay less. Oh Btw, Ever considered Galaxy s4 Mini? I bought two phones from hitechmobiles.co.nz before in newmarket, auckland. They are pretty good |

| 1373536 | 2014-04-29 12:10:00 | If I may ask, what is a Google Edition? The Google Edition comes with fully stock and latest version of android. It is sold through the Google Play Store in the US/AU. You have to use a VPN to access the site and use a ship forwarding service to ship it here. It really doesn't matter with the Moto G. The version of Android it comes with is already very close to stock, and Motorola seems to be pushing out updates very quickly anyway. I only got this version because it was $50 cheaper to import it (incl shipping) than to buy it at JB (also wasn't out at the time in NZ). |
