1374263 2014-05-07 01:16:00 Use Office 2013 at home. Pretty sure they had groupwise at the courts when I used to work there, or was it probation. Speedy Gonzales (78)
1374264 2014-05-07 01:52:00 At work I use excel and outlook all the time and word quite often.
At home I have almost no use for any of it and make do with kingsoft office for those occasions I do.

Our company uses office as do all the companies we deal with - you pretty much have to as that's what all the documents are created in.
I note though that most stick to the older format files for greater compatibility and the newer formats get adopted very slowly.

1374265 2014-05-07 04:57:00 I use Office Professional 2010 - Outlook and Excel almost all day every day in my home office-based accounting practice, and quite often Word. I've owned and used every version of Office since V.3.1, except I skipped Office 95. Also used most of them when I was working fulltime. tinakarori (5695)

Show us the survey!
Sure many office workers may have custom apps or accounting software etc.

But I doubt that a high percentage of people use Google Docs.

I use Office 2010 Word, Excel and Access (in fact Access would be the one program I could not do without)

And one day I will update my Office to a later version.

1374267 2014-05-07 05:15:00 I have no idea if the survey was done to make MS look bad. I just read about and was curious as to what PF1 forum users used when it came to documents and spread sheets. Webdevguy (17166)
1374268 2014-05-07 05:23:00 MS Office!?! What's that???

I basically use Thunderbird for my work email, Google Apps for your Domain Email for my personal emails, Google Docs / Notepad / vi for everything else. Have done-so for years!

1374269 2014-05-07 05:26:00 Even tho office is installed I hardly use it. Only thing I use often is Outlook. I dont even use Word. And dont create or edit or do anything with spreadsheets Speedy Gonzales (78)
1374270 2014-05-07 08:50:00 LibreOffice or WordPerfect when I'm feeling nostalgic Agent_24 (57)
1374271 2014-05-07 11:44:00 Just started teaching myself Publisher 2013, at SeniorNet. I want to be able to produce a decent newsletter.
I use Word and Excel 2007 at home. I didn't pay for it though. Equally as happy using Open Office too.

1374272 2014-05-07 11:55:00 Office 2010 at home (but not Outlook - I use the Gmail browser interface) and Office 2013 at work.

I sincerely doubt there are many NZ corporates using Google Docs
