Yes. Look how long they have been doing it...and then every new O/S, needs more updates...why? You'd think it was sorted. I have never updated an O/S ever. Can't say I have ever had any malware either - except years back on Workbench, I got one of the very first.... Common sense and 3rd party programs keep you far safer. And I think the common sense works far better. |

Just interested? sarelOnly one with Cryptolocker, but have had a few call me asking about suspect emails with attachments relating to invoices /receipts, told them to delete them DO NOT open the attachments Example, heres one that I got on the 26th. Good afternoon! We have received your order and will be processing it quickly. Order identifier: 100456 Sum total: $305.51 ------------------------------------------------------ Purchase details is in the attached archive. ------------------------------------------------------ REALLY !! :illogical two problems there, 1. Never ordered anything from the sender, dont even know who they are. 2. Most people that send out receipts DONT send them in zipped files. ;) Thats where mailwasher comes in real handy, it lets you look at whats incoming and you can decide to let it in or not. :) |

Which is why its often the same people getting infected multiple times, on fully updated PC's . Even when I went to a hacked NZ website that infected a customers PC (twice) , using IE I still didnt get my test PC infected:just by using some common sense . Its almost as if they cant help themselves, click on anything that pops up, open any ol scam email . |

I manage several websites and there are about 12 mail boxes. I can look at them all, then only download the ones I want. | mzee (3324) | ||
