Not dealing with the manufacturer yet, retailer and distributor so far Perhaps but the CGA is between the consumer and the retailer, they are not allowed to fob you off to the manufacturer. If the manufacturer/distributor went out of business that doesn't mean the retailer doesn't have to help you anymore, under the CGA. |

2014-04-28 06:56:00 | Yeah but I can't fight this, I don't have the time and I doubt I would win anyway. (I am sure I am right but right and justice never go hand in hand) I was just hoping to make enough noise that I got something (a new hull maybe) to shut me up.

2014-04-28 12:09:00 | I can be quite unfocused at times and I have already had enough of this conversation with the retailer and supplier. So I am just going to scrap the hull and build the hardware into a new hull when I get around to it.

2014-04-30 01:08:00 | I can be quite unfocused at times and I have already had enough of this conversation with the retailer and supplier. So I am just going to scrap the hull and build the hardware into a new hull when I get around to it. The only thing you achieve by giving up is a cast-iron guarantee that the retailer will get his confidence raised and screw some other poor sod. All you have to do is lodge a complaint with the appropriate authorities and they will straighten him out. If you can't even do that to help yourself, then don't winge about it here. It is apathy and justice that never go hand in hand, you could ask Arthur Allan Thomas or David Bain about that! Regardless of your belief in their innocence or guilt, they are out of jail because their supporters 'got around to it' for years on end, all you need to invest is a couple of hours. Cheers Billy 8-{) BTW: The definition for 'when I get around to it' is 'some day, one day, never'.

2014-04-30 02:42:00 | Well said Billy. Not sure how to move this forward without sending in the hull to them thou and that will cost me about $100 to ship due to its size. And that is money I will probably never see again. I'll have to consider this.

2014-04-30 03:02:00 | that will cost me about $100 to ship due to its size . . What is it's size? Try castle Parcels, they ship PCs for around $12 - $15 . Cheapest crowd I know for larger items . . . . .

2014-04-30 12:17:00 | If you do incur any costs in getting it fixed/replaced, under the cga, the retailer should be refunding you. This includes any freight. Another reason you should be dealing with the retailer as they should be the ones sending it back to the manufacturer.

2014-04-30 12:41:00 | I still have to send it to the retailer in Dunedin Less cost but still a cost, I dunno winning this is a long shot cause of the repairs. Still need to consider my options.
