1481126 2021-10-06 00:38:00 Auckland remains in Level 3 except for a few conditions that permit you to be closer to Level 2 but with the restrictions of Level 3 while allowing for the Level 2 freedoms but maintaining a Level 3 threshold with a Level 2 range while keeping a clear Level 3 environment that will allow you to do those Level 2 activities as long as they meet the guidelines of Level 3 but this is only on the condition that the Level 2 processes are structured to fit inside the Level 3 road map.

Remember Sir Humphrey in Yes Minister?

1481128 2021-10-06 02:20:00 we allowed to meet in groups of 10 max , all have to be in one other bubble

Auckland : Nope, Im going to do what I want & meet up with who I want . Im no longer going to sit at home .

Even "experts" and politicians get caught breaking these rules . Large groups break the rules & police do nothing .
Making rules that most no longer follow. Whats the point.

1481129 2021-10-06 04:26:00 It is all about politicians trying to look like they are doing something and assorted obscure academics determined to enjoy their moment of fame.
It is noticeable that the media and our politicians now appear to no longer report on events concerning Covid in the rest of the world except when it is very bad news.

1481130 2021-10-06 06:26:00 If you want to have a large gathering make sure you call it a BLM protest. That somehow protects you from the virus (or arrest).
Also waiting for Greenpeace and co. to start protesting about us making this virus extinct, because virus lives matter.

.

That's for sure .
I emailed one of those academics, he was babbling on about how vaccinating kids is a bad thing and such and I pointed out some overseas places who have now done so and I got back 2 words:

"**** off" .

Probably needed at least a masters degree to be able to produce such a well thought out reply :)

You are of course aware that if they want to keep their well paid jobs these people have to toe the party line otherwise they do not last long.
