1477122 2021-05-12 02:39:00 I quite often cast a You Tube video and that works alright, but I have made a video out of my photos and would like to cast that as well, but it seems that I can only cast something that is in the Chrome browser. Will someone tell me how to do that, please.:help: Roscoe (6288)
1477123 2021-05-12 02:54:00 If you open the Video in Windows Player ( movies and TV the default player) Bottom Right hand corner, 3 dots - Cast to Device - The TV as long as it shows as available.

1477126 2021-05-13 02:50:00 But now I have a related task that I cannot work out.

I have an Aerial Box recorder/player and when I go to "cast" I see that I can cast to the Aerial Box - so I do and after a short while it says "connected". But I have pressed every button on the remote but I cannot see where to go to see that which I have cast.:help:

Your help is appreciated.:thanks

1477127 2021-05-13 05:45:00 The Aerial Box recorder/player has to be the device (correct HDMI Port) selected on the TV, and the video controlled by what its playing from. Basically (lets say its a Laptop or Phone ) is the controller along with all related functions, Think of it as the TV is ONLY the display. wainuitech (129)

My brother had this issue with some of the church files. He couldn't. We tried all sorts. In the end the best method was open the file with Chrome...then cast.

That sounds a good idea but how do I open a file with Chrome, please?

Thank you, Wainui. I also found out that if you bring up the mp4 file and click Copy then paste it into the address bar of Chrome it will also start playing.

That is really good, thank you. We have been able to cast a video of our daughter's wedding which was great! Much better on a bigger screen rather than the laptop.

Much appreciated.:thanks
