1477075 2021-05-10 01:40:00 I just been reading about the filth of Porn & would like to knowhow to filter out porn on our Spark fiber modem.
Look at the setup it says its a V9517modem.
Can someone please help with simple instructions as I'mf ast approaching 70 with heaps of grandchildren and a couple of great grand children & I wanna protect them.

Tried the Adult filter when it first came out seemed to work without trying to find sites ,otherwise I would still be looking��

DNS Block is one way of doing this. Its not perfect , but nothing is.

Does it have a built-in firewall/content filter etc. Some have the option of enabling content filtering so enabling this will prevent any incoming/outgoing requests associated with dodgy sites.

I see that Spark has a security feature called Net Shield which appears to do content filtering etc, they also have a premium service which costs NZ$4.95/month.
