| 1476882 | 2021-05-01 05:12:00 | doesn't seem to be an option on the free ware I'm using If its the Online you are using then NO it wont, that's a cut down version. Earlier paid versions Of Office may or may not have the option. The paid versions from MS have full options. If you want a free Office Package that does allow the inserting, Freeoffice will do it. www.freeoffice.com From textmaker (word) Insert - OLE Object Frame - You can select an existing PDF> 10884 You select Adobe PDF then click on Create From File, browse to the PDF you want to insert from your computer, OK. it embeds it into the Document as a Icon. If you install Free office 1st thing I suggest is change the formats on all 3 programs to MS formats ( same paths on all) --- ( Text= Word , Plan Maker = Excel, Presentations = Power point). 10886 You have to register to get the free Licence but that's no biggie. |

| 1476885 | 2021-05-01 21:00:00 | Just installed free office as I'm still using office 07, will run free for a while to see how I like it before uninstalling MS office | gary67 (56) | ||
| 1476886 | 2021-05-01 22:49:00 | its all trade offs with free stuff isn't it. FreeOffice doesn't open files in tabs which I prefer so there you go. I've got around it by taking a screenshot (bank statement in cashflow )in this case and inserting image instead of the pdf. Next step paid program but hard to justify for my usage. |
