It is never going to happen like that . We are all going to die one day that is absolutely certain no matter what steps you take to try and delay it . Why would you even take the risk when the mitigation is so simple for the overwhelming majority of people? Logically once 100% of the population is vacinated only the vacinated will die . Yes, and the vaccinated will have a much better chance at survival by virtue of being vaccinated, as well as the likelihood of spreading covid dropping because you are vaccinated . "A study shows that people vaccinated against coronavirus with the Delta variant had similar peak viral levels to those without vaccination." the bit you have left out is its "peak virus load". ie not total virus load that you mention and more importantly not the same length of time. as far as been able to spread, what matters a lot is the length of time of being infectious. shorter time means less people infected. |

They live in North Carolina ... which has a population of 10 million people , twice the population of NZ....they are getting up to 29,000 cases per day.
