| 1480568 | 2021-09-18 04:23:00 | Interesting thread - why is there such a revival in the use of Welsh and Gaelic etc. They are of no more practical use than Maori. I think that we would ALL be better off being fluent in two or more languages with one of them being English. I agree and can hold a conversation in two other languages apart from English. Both were useful to me at the time but neither was Maori, Welsh or Gaelic none of which have been any requirement for me to survive in the world. Should that change so shall I. |
