Its possible the graphic Drivers are faulty, completely uninstalling the Graphic Drivers then installing New May sort the problem.

Read the complete thread as well both pages, the solution helped several people.

Found the Gamma as described on this, did a test, using the site - went from the default 1.0 to the min then upto Max. Went from standard down to :waughh: Really dark to so light could only just read it.

1476506 2021-04-18 08:45:00 Thanks WT. I will investigate. Funny though, I have a Toshiba Tecra laptop and it has the same problem with light text. Mainly the guts of the stories on Stuff and the like, but also affected is the system lower level text. Headlines or headers, no problem. I am now thinking that my old eyes need a revival somehow. It probably would not be a bad idea to get your eyes checked out. It just might solve your problem. I certainly would not be able to see much without my spectacles.

Have you tried changing the browser? In chrome, I find some text a bit light and hard to read, but in Edge, it renders nicely

1476509 2021-04-23 22:15:00 You could try what I did in Windows 7. Don't like that awful, blurry Segoe UI font? Delete it! Windows has no choice but to use an older, actually readable font.

Now I mostly use Linux, and it doesn't matter, since the default fonts there are actually sensible.
