| 1476257 | 2021-04-26 09:58:00 | Hi everyone, wanted to provide a conclusion (sorry for the delay, had my stuff arrive from NZ, and life has been keeping me busy!). Downloaded linux mint onto ISO (impressed myself no end with verifying it, and then using Rufus to transferring linux as an ISO - ah, n00b pleasures :D ), I can see the drive, but nothing works with it. A dead drive, but I gave it a shot to try and keep it going... [shrug] New caddy, hard drive and external optical drive on the way. Thanks everyone for your help and guidance! |
