1489442 2022-11-23 06:32:00 I lodged a dispute claim for refund as the item never arrived.

I then received this from the seller: "Dear friend , so sorry for that. How about send new to you soon? if yes , please cancel the dispute for me and leave me a message, I will resend soon . if no, please give us a 5 star reviews, then I will refund immediately. Thank you for your support."

What's your suggestion?

1489443 2022-11-23 17:14:00 you have to be careful. If you cancel the dispute and give a 5 star review then you are basically saying everything is good. Chances you wont get a refund from seller as they will say you gave a 5 star review.

My Advice - What we have done in the past is leave the dispute active. it may take a week or so to run its course, but aliexpress generally give the refund at the end. We had some items not turn up, the seller wanted to allow another two to three weeks to arrive, I said NO as it would then go past the 75day guarantee arrival from date of shipping. Aliexpress agreed and refunded, months later goods still not arrived, reordered through another shop.

1489444 2022-11-23 17:23:00 Yes the seller doesn't get paid until you confirm you have the goods, basically Aliexpress is a holding company for the funds until receipt of goods hence why refunds happen quite quickly. Stick to your guns as its you hard earned money. gary67 (56)

1489446 2022-11-23 22:01:00 How long has it been and did you have any tracking info?

Sometimes stuff is just slow, especially the budget postage options. I've had things take 2-3 months on occasion but most of the time, they did arrive - eventually.

I agree with Wainuitech though, if you cancel the dispute, you have no options after that. So be careful. You have no idea if the seller will honor their word.

1489447 2022-11-24 01:24:00 Order placed on 18 Sep , Estimated delivery date: 18 Nov.

NZ Post has no tracking updates available.

1489448 2022-11-24 02:39:00 You should find tracking info/number on the order page. Typically it won't show in NZ post.

Use 17track.net instead. Try AliExpress tracking, or one of their commonly used carriers like Yanwen or Cainiao.

I choose: Neither.
I would let Ali proceed with the dispute against seller, seller has to refund you anyway, can't bribe you into refunding.

1489450 2022-11-24 05:29:00 Global tracking (parcelsapp.com)

This is the site I use to track all my parcels even ones inside NZ very accurate and works perfectly for Aliexpress shipping

1489451 2022-11-24 19:39:00 I have a bunch of those tracking sites, depends where it comes from, who sent by etc, some show, some not.
But all are far better than NZPost. I have had stuff shown handed over to NZPost, NZPost showed nothing at all right up until parcel was in my hands....other tracking showed it every step of the way, inc out for delivery. If they can do it, how come NZPost can't?
